Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

VA Stepmom threatened with legal action for helping with homework

My husband and I have physical custody of his son. The mother has visitations on Monday and Thursday nights and then from Saturday at 5pm until Sunday at 8pm. She spoke with my husband last night threatening legal action against us because I, his step-mother, do his homework with him, sign his homework paper, sign his report cards, conduct notices etc. Is there a law against me doing this? Does she have a case against us?
