Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Can there be a verbal no contact rule in place by a judge if there is no restraining or protective order in place? And written down or not if there is no ORDER, how is it that " someone can have no contact or else there will be consequences."

The person who thinks s/he may be under such an order should

have the matter reviewed by a competent attorney who handles

Virginia domestic relations matters (in my opinion).
