Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Virginia Divorce

I am on disability, have been since 2002. I bring in roughly $500.00 more than the limit set to get help from legal aid and such in this state. Are there any options for me getting filing fees waived, any options for getting an attorney on a sliding scale or reduced rate. Obviously, with an income of 1200.00 a month, 500.00 for legal help in filing the divorce just isnt going to work. The soon to be ex- is in Az and maybe filing papers there but as I an certain to contest those and cannot afford to go to az I thought I may try to file first. Any suggestions? Thanks Gary

Re: Virginia Divorce

No, Gary, I have no suggestions other than the low cost legal aid providers in your area which apparently you've already explored.
