Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Visitation for my Daughter's Father

I live in Virginia with my daughter. Her father recently left Virginia to Texas. I filed for sole custody and child support and expected to go to court next week. I was wondering, what kind of visitation would be expected for him? She's only 15 months old and is too young to travel across the country, I think. Would she have to go for the whole summer even at this age? Or can I request to send her to Texas once she's older?

Re: Visitation for my Daughter's Father

At the hearing on the matter(s), you(or your attorney)can request of the court whatever visitation conditions which you believe would be appropriate for a father who now, apparently, resides in the state of Texas. The court will then review all of the relevant factors necessary to this determination and order a visitation schedule for the father which it believes to be in the best interests of the subject child.
