Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Visitation List Exclusion

My 'significant other' was admitted to a hospital last week. We have been living together for years. While he was consious, I was placed on the visitation list. After he became unconcious, primarily through drugs that were given by the hospital, a member of his family demanded that I not visit. Can his family legally do this?

Re: Visitation List Exclusion

Yes, probably, due to the way the current rules are written, but why not ask someone in the hospital administration who should (hopefully) know for certain?
