Visitation/made to meet half way
I have joint custody, with myself as custodial parent. I moved to another state 3 years ago-ex. Was properly notified of move and adress. He did not object. He has has only asked to see them a few times a year-not as much as our divorce decree states. He now threatens court to make me meet him half way whenever he decides he wants to see children. Can he do this?

Re: Visitation/made to meet half way
The usual arrangement is that the children travel along if they are old enough and plane travel is required. If the children are very young some sort of companion is required. Who picks up the children and who pays for the transportatin expenses depends upon the financial circumstances of each parent and what is fair. You should call me at 8002737933 for a better explanation.

Thank you for your inquiry.
In light of the fact that he has only visited with the children a handful of times over the past few years certainly would weaken his case. However, as the father of the children, he does have significant rights.
It would be my pleasure to speak to you about your situation. Accordingly, please feel free to contact my office at 732 246 0909 to discuss further.
