vistitation changes in Virginia

I have 2 children 17 and 15 and we live in Virginia, thier father lives in Indiana my 15 year old has told his father he doesn't want to go see him this summer and my ex now wants a court order to change the vistitation agreement. Legally, what are my obligations? Also my ex is threatining to stop child support payments

You may petition the court to modify visitation anytime there has been a material change in circumstance. Your 15 year old's desire MAY constitute such a material change, but you would be wise to supplement your motion with more detailed reasons concerning why he is unwilling to visit. Retaining a lawyer would be helpful in that regard.

Your ex cannot stop paying child support. If necessary, you can collect your support via an income deduction order.
