If my wife cheats and gets pregnant 2 weeks after the marriage, can I get an annulment? We live in VA. We were married by a judge in New York.

The grounds for annulment under Va Code Sec. 20-89.1 that are most likely

to apply to your situation would be fraud or duress as specified in subsection a

of the referenced Code or as in subsection b "when the wife without the knowledge of the husband is with child at the time of the marriage fathered by someone other than the husband".

However, more relevant facts regarding your situation would appear necessary

to offer an opinion as to whether you may actually have a credible legal basis for an annulment in the Commonwealth.
