Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My ex wife and I have a court order in place that is not working. It is a year and half old but we are worried about how its effecting our child. We alternate every 2 weeks and that makes it very hard for him to have stablity or start any kind of schooling, etc. Is there any way to motify the court order even though it is less than 2 years old if both parents agree its not whats best for the child anymore?

Yes, a motion to modify the current order could be filed with the court

having jurisdiction over the matter with both parties scheduled to appear to

make their respective representations to the judge as to why the

current order should be modified in the best interests of the subject child.
