Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My Wife and I divorced about two years ago, and I sold her my share of the home and she agreed to keep paying for the house. but she never refinanced the home and I just found this out when I went to apply for a loan that my name was still on the mortgage. I would like to get my name of this loan because it is affecting my credit rating from a debt to income ratio. How do I do this

You could explain the situation to the lender that has the mortgage still showing your

name on it with any documentary evidence that you may have in support of your claim,

but if that fails then you might want to discuss with a lawyer the possibility of filing contempt charges against your former wife for her apparent failure to follow through with her promise regarding this matter.
