Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My wife left me and moved to missouri about two weeks ago. Well she left all of her furnature here and I have to move soon. I told her she needed to get it asap. There arent any papers filed for anything. I told her if she didnt get it out that I would have to call and donate it for a good cause. Am I allowed to do this since it was left behind? I have no where to put it.

Better send her written notice and keep a copy for your records. Then, if she fails to come for the items by the time you move, you can dispose of them as you see fit.
