Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Wife Left Took Everything Wants to Sell Our Home

We have been married for 4 years. My family gave us some land to purchase a manufactured home. I work 12-14 hours days. She would not hold a job so did not contribute to the mortgage or any of our bills. When my family gave us the property they gave it to both of us. Came home and she had cleaned out the home. Took all of the furniture left me with 2 chairs. Stuck me with all the bills. I even supported her 2 children from another marriage. She was taking money I was giving her for the bills and putting it into a personal account. Now there was someone taking photo's of our home this afternoon and she is wanting me to sell. What legal recourse do I have? Can she sell the home without my permission? Can she be held responsible for the marital debt? Can this be considered abandonment? Please help! I do not know what to do.

Friend, it would appear that you're very close(if not acutally already there) to being in dire need of an attorney who understands the nuts and bolts of Virginia domestic relations law.

Get on the horn ASAP and make an appointment for a consultation (before you return home and find the toilet paper also gone).
