Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

my wife has removed her clothing and personal items from the residence. I have no knowledge of where she is only the area. I was wondering how long she has to be gone before it is considered abandonment.

Since you have provided no information as to when she left(nor the circumstances of her departure), the reasonable answer is, probably, a while longer.
