Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My wife and I are currently separated in writing. As we persue the divorce with separate lawyers - I would like to know if I am responsible for paying for her divorce lawyer? I make 90% of the house income. We are going through mediation but she threatens that if I don't agree to terms in the mediation, that she will get a lawyer and I have to pay for it. Is this true?

She can file a motion and request it. It will then be up to the judge.
