Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My ex wife has sole custody of my 15 year old son but wont take him back in her house. he is currently spending his time at my house, is she breaking any child custody laws? if so, what are they and could they be used in a custody change?

She's not "breaking any child custody laws" but the situation is unusual. Why not ask her why your son is spending all his overnights at your house when she has sole custody. It sounds like a change in custodial arrangements would be in order, which would, by the way, reduce her support. But you are both parents of your son, and a simple discussion makes sense to me.
