Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My wife told me to get out of the house, subsequently changed the locks on the house while I was at work, and wrote me an email telling me I would not have access to the house. In response, I found an apartment and began the waiting period for a divorce. Is what she did considered constructive abandonment in the Commonwealth of Virginia? As well, she is now filing a request for spousal support. Can she do that, event though we were only married two years and she has held decent paying jobs, but for the most part has simply elected to not work, even though I had asked her to pursue employment and/or job training?

She should not have changed locks on your house. Sure, she can make all kinds of claims. You should retain an attorney ASAP.
