Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My wife's family called Child Proctective Services (CPS) against her for a statement that my non-biological daughter said to them. The incident was my 14 year-old step-daughter saw me walking around the house in my PJ bottoms and no T-shirt and the fly on my PJ bottom was open unintentionally. She did see my anatomy and was grossed out about it. I have sinced apologized to my step-daughter about this poor judgement, but my wife's family is not letting this go. My wife's family never really like me and treat me as though I hurt my step-daughter. I wanted to know what legal advice can I get if and when I am also questioned by CPS about this matter.

Just tell them the whole truth and the fact that you're remorseful regarding the incident and have apologized to your stepdaughter. (Hopefully, there are no such

prior incidents in your past history with your stepdaughter.)
