Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia
What will happend?
Me and my daughters father are going through a custody battle. Even still, I let him come and get her for three weeks at a time and shes only 7months. We live 5hours apart. He has two cars and I dont have one. He used to abuse me at the beginning of our relationship. I moved away because of verbal abuse. He says he wants my daughter to be in a good enviroment. Now, the problem is; my mother used to smoke cigarettes in HER ROOM in the apartment where me and my daughter resides but I moved here because my mother and brother were in a shelter so I was all they had. He keeps holding this against me even though it isnt going on anymore. Other then that, he has nothing to say about the enviroment she lives in. Then he says she looks like she has lost weight everytime he gets her our daughter again. I have pictures of me and my daughter together that shows she growing and very healthy. I am an excellent mother. I am not on drugs or anything. By her father telling the judge that, which I know isnt the whole story, will this mean I will lose my daughter.

No, you are not likely to lose your daughter based upon this father's distortions of the truth, and, perhaps, outright lies.
