Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

wills

I live in Ohio and my husband lives in Virginia - he is quite wealthy but seems to have all of his assets in trusts to our children and his ''live in'' - If he passes away before I do, is there any way to claim what is mine, as his wife ? Thank you.

Re: wills

If he dies while you are still married to him, which I do not recommend, you do have the spousal statutory allowance of $ 40000.00, but if his will pours everything over into the various trusts, there will be nothing left to pay the allowance from. File for divorce now!!
