Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

withdraw pending case

I have a pending case in juvenile court I would like to withdraw. I have a show cause order against me because I took custody of the children due to other parent not providing proper supervision. I filed for full custody. Judge continued case and ordered home studies. We have since reached an agreeement and the children have proper supervision in his house. We both want this to go away but cannot find resources telling us how to withdraw from a pending matter. We both have joint shared custody of the children with a 50/50 division of time.

Re: withdraw pending case

Go to the clerk's office the J&DRDC and tell them what you would like to do. They will provide you with the papers/forms which you will need to fill out and file in order to get the matter before the judge so that you can inform him/her of your "druthers".
