Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Wronged by Judge and Ex

Ex took me back to court for not getting kids, judge said I was not in contempt of court order told I could get my lost pay back from ex for missing work judge said it wasn't in the courts best interest to have her repay me. Dragged by to court again, court order says I claim kids on taxes she claimed last 3 years, judge said not in courts best interest again, kids 10 and 12 judge not require her to work but I have to to support the kids and new wife and kids. Is there anything I can do to get a different judge. This judge says she doesn't have to work these kids are in school all day why can't she get a job? I feel like the judge has it out for me.

Re: Wronged by Judge and Ex

Could be (that the judge is biased against you)

but it's unlikely that your case could be reassigned to another judge who might be more congenially disposed towards your interests(after she or he decides what's in your children's best interests.)

FYI, it's not unusual for a court to decide that a mother with fairly young school age children such as yours should be able to stay at home to care for them and not be required to take employment outside the home in order to meet her share of the total child support obligation.
