Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My xhusband did not pay total amount due me in property settlement , he sent letter stating he paid some back taxes and that I owed half. This was before we signed the agreement and was not disclosed to me, until I got check minus 2500.00 ...My lawyer asked me if I owed the money?...I see this as a separate issue...My attorney has done nothing but take thousands from me and wont even make him comply with court order...Should I take out a show just cause on my own?

Without reviewing your PSA as to exactly what it may say (or not) regarding these taxes (as well as your former husband's letter), I couldn''t offer an opinion on this matter.
