caregiver for sick mother-in-law
can I take time off from work to care for mine mother in law. mine husband in the only child.

No, a mother in law is not considered an immediate family member in determining an employee's eligibilty for FMLA leave. A biological parent would be, e.g. your mother, but not your mother in law.
