Legal Question in Medical Leave in Virginia

Doctors Note and Accommodation.

My Federal Employer is questioning my doctors note. I faxed the note in from my doctor. My supervisor said that he couldn't read the note. I dropped the original off at the office. He stated that he couldn't read that one as well. I went to my doctor and ask her to write a legible note and he can't read that one as well. I sent him an e-mail stating excactly what the note stated. I received another note on Monday from my doctor stating I'm under her care and I will return to work on 02-11-2008. He can't read that one as well. I instruted him to call her office and I didn't have time to go back and forth him with I'm trying to get better. And he state that's my responsible to provide a legible copy he is the only one that can't read the note that states I'm under her care until 02-11-2008. He didn't place me on AWOL. What can I do about the harrasement while I'm out on sick leave and I have proper documentation. I received an e-mail from civil rights recommending that my office allow me to work from home if the office reject this work from home request, and its available to the judges, and other paralegals can I sue the federal government. I have been out under the doctors care since 01-17-2008.

Additionally, if you're a federal employee, there may be a formal grievance procedure of which you could avail yourself to address what you describe as "the harassment while I'm out on sick leave". THE OPM could likely provide further details as to

what may be avilable in this regard to employees of your specific agency.

As I said before, sure you could sue, but apparently the fellow in charge of your office(chief judge?)isn't too concerned about the merits of your various claim(s) or something would've been done about them by now. (Also, since you are not considered AW0L, apparently you've been granted the sick leave which your doctor requested.)
