Can an employer requests a note or call from the physcian per occurancy for inte

I only recieve 3 months approval at a time for my FMLA verse 12 months for intermitant use. In addition to that my employer is requestion that I have the Physican call or write to my employer per occurance even though I have been approved for FMLA. Can my employer, by FMLA law, require me to do this?

If you are using intermittent leave under FMLA, your employer can require intermittent statements from your health care provider attesting to the medical necessity for such leave.
