Legal Question in Medical Leave in Virginia
End of time off
My leave time is almost up although i hanen't been released from the Dr. Can they terminate me if i haven't been released yet?

If your 12 weeks of FMLA leave are up and you fail to return to work without your employer approving further leave, the answer is, yes, you can then be terminated for cause. (A release from your doctor is irrelevant.)
