Legal Question in Medical Leave in Virginia
Fml
Employee using FML to the max for her migraines has now brought in Drs. note indicating her child was seen for a 3 day illness. Emp. has not done FML paperwork for child care. Do we have to regard emp. absence for child as FML protected?

No, apparently not, unless you gave prior approval for this type of FMLA leave (to care for ailing child).
