Legal Question in Medical Leave in Virginia

fmla

I had foot surgery and my 12 weeks are almost up. I realize that my foot will no longer be able to keep up with the rigors of my job. I will be looking for work that is less physical. Regarding a separation from my employer in the best light possible, should I quit my job now before the FMLA is over or wait until the end of the 12 weeks?

Re: fmla

Since your 12 weeks of FMLA leave is almost up anyway, I see no difference in terms of overall effect between one course of action or the other.
