fmla on the job injury

i was injured on the job and they are putting me on fmla i do not want to use fmla for this can i stop them?

Under the federal statute, the employee must request FMLA leave and cannot be placed on such leave by the unilateral decision of the employer.

If you were injured on the job, you should be filing a workman's compensation claim and requesting to utilize whatever accrued leave you have available(whether sick or vacation).
