is it legal in va. for employers to force employees to take fmla with sick leave and workmans comp. for a total of 12 weeks in a 12 month period

Under FMLA rules, the employer may require that the employee take other kinds of accumulated leave first before resorting to FMLA leave, including sick or vacation leave or leave associated with workman's compensation.
