Legal Question in Medical Leave in Virginia
FMLA being sold to a company? I was just told by my job that our FMLA was going to headed by a "company" if you needed more then 2 days off this "company" would call you and THEY would decide how many days you would receive off. I always thought FMLA was a federal law and that seems illegal to do that. Can this be done

No matter whom (or what) your employer contracts with to
administer its responsibilties under the Family & Medical Leave Act,
the federal law will still have to be complied with or the company could
face civil lawsuits in U.S. district court.
