Legal Question in Medical Leave in Virginia

I am preg

I am preg and I have come to pre-term labor and my company is saying cause I have not been here a year if my doc puts me on bed rest they are not going to hold my job.....can they do this?

Yes, apparently, they can as long as you are not eligible for and have not applied for FMLA leave.
