working while on flma

can i work part time at another job while on flma while caring for my ill mother in the day time?my job has daytime hours...can i work at night part time,while my brother sits with her at night?will i still be eligible to go back to my day job(which pays the most)if i work part time?

I know of no restrictions in the FMLA law itself that would bar such employment nor prevent you from reclaiming your regular day job once your 12 weeks of unpaid leave is up.
