Legal Question in Federal Tort Claims in Virginia

While going through a bitter separtation and divorce I became very sick. The Dr's had a really hard time getting a to the bottom of it and now they have determined that I had Guilliam Barree Symdrome back then and that I now have the chronic form of it CIDP. One of the causes of this is extream stress. Could I file a Tort case against my now Ex for this

Sure, you could file a tort case(not a federal one, however), but, if you filed even a state claim, you could not win on these facts.
