Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia
if a 16 year old with a 5 month old baby lives with her mother but her mother does not have custody, and the she decides to live with someone else without her mother's permission, can her mother charge her with running away and get her back or take the baby from her?

As a minor, the 16 year old if not emancipated would still be legally
subject to her mother's control and supervision.
