Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia
I think I have asolid defamation of charcter and slander lawsuit. The president of the HOA has said in person and by email that we are selling drugs out of our shop so she can try to get us shut down. She went to our landlord, an employ at the hair salon and called the police and made a false report. She is also a lawyer so why would she trample on the law? She also used a racial statement by saying I will never let "you people" operate in my neighborhood. Im afarid she will show up at the board of supervisors meeting where we are up for our final approval to open. And im afraid she will continue to ruin our good standing name with her lies. What is next?
