if you have a beware of dog sign on your house and your dog bites another dog that got to close to the fence through the fence are you responsible?

Maybe, maybe not (depending upon the other relevant facts such as

the width of spacings in the fence, prior history of biting, whether bitten dog was under proper control on a leash or may have provoked the bite etc.
