car was damaged during inspection of car during private party sale. (perspective buyer shut the hood of car and caused dent)Is perspective buyer liable?
Incident took place in mall parking lot.

Yes I would think the prospective buyer would be liable if he was negligent and his negligence caused the damage to the hood.

A private party sale at a mall parking lot? And you're going to prove that a person whom you call a prospective buyer(a bit tipsy, perhaps)was negligent under these(somewhat dubious?) circumstances?
I wouldn't hold my breath for this one.
