what do i do after a responsive of reading is given back to me do i respond to the answers they gave and submit to the court or just wait for trail date do i submitt all affidavit and subpoenas now to the court

Even if this is only a small claims court action(where lawyers are not allowed to represent clients), it would seem advisable for you to consult with an attorney who should be able to advise you as to what you should now do with the "responsive pleading" which you've apparently recently received from the defendant, and how you should best prepare and present your particular case for trial. (And, no, you would not now present any affidavits which you may have in the case to the court but only at the trial when it's your turn to present evidence in your small claims court case, and the subpoena(s) would be presented to the judge only if your witness failed to appear on the day of trial and you were therefore requesting sanctions against this person for his or her failure to appear.)
