Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia

Chewed Gum

While consuming a meal at a nationwide based restaurant my son realized that there was chewed gum in his food.He had comsumed three-forths of the meal and had the chewed gum in his mouth. We have filed a complaint with the health department, contacted his primary care doctor for an evaluation but we are at a loss as to what to do next. Is this a ligitimate basis for civil court and how do we go about protecting my sons physical health and well-being in the future.

Re: Chewed Gum

I find it quite unlikely that a suit based upon the facts which you've described here would have much chance of success in civil court.
