Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia

I have a Civil Claim For Money filed against me from a lawyer in Fairfax County when all his legal services were performed in Loudoun County for me. I do not owe this attorney anymore money I paid him $7000 for a child custody case and I added his hours up and he was double charging me on some appearances and padding his hours. He is a dishonest and terrible attorney! My question is how can he prove his hours other than his word! Furthermore, wouldn't he have to file in the county where his serves were performed?

So, assuming this is a warrant in debt which this attorney has filed against you

in Fairfax County General District Court, either you or preferably you

and your lawyer will need to appear on the scheuled date(s) in this matter to defend against this lawsuit which is apparently now pending against you. You would seem well advised to request a Bill of Particulars specifically including a separate attachment accounting for the attorney's billable hours in your case.

(And, no, the plaintiff-attorney is not required necessarily to file his case in Loudoun County if he lives or also practices law in Fairfax County or

you, the defendant, reside in Fairfax County.)
