Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia
court interference
I am in court with my ex-wife. I am suing her for unjust enrichment of alimony. My daughter claims to be her power of attorney; however, she will not furnish myself or the court with a document to prove this. She has been allowed to speak from the audience section because my ex did not show for court. Can I legally ask her to be removed from the courtroom? Can you site the VA law that supports this? thanks

Re: court interference
Such matters as who is permitted to speak in behalf of a party or is allowed to be in a courtroom are normally matters of discretion left to the presiding judge(in my opinion), and are therefore not likely to be found in the Code of Virginia nor other state law and regulation.
