Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia

Credit card not mine

I have a court date coming up in Feb. concerning a credit card that is in my name but is not mine. I have been in conytact with the attorney for the credit card co. and all they have is statements sent to an old address of mine but no signature or check payment only a few over the phone payments do I have a chance to beat this since there is no record - that I know of - of an application or payment with my name on it only a few statements sent to a wrong address?

You haven't explained how the credit card was issued in your name but is supposedly not yours. Until that particular fact has been sufficiently clarified along with numerous others which may be related to this issue, no reliable response can be offered to this question(in my opinion).
