Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia

My daughter was involved in an accident the other person vehicle was totaled I was given a ticket for failure to give right of way. No their suing for more than my parents insurance coverage if they win a judgment against my parents can they take our house? How would the get the balance from my parents? The accident happend at night and I did not see their headlights after the accident the deputy noticed that his lights were turned on but not illuminating but the insurance company says the impact could have caused that.

Sounds like someone needs an attorney here and, probably, two at least,

one for you(allegedly responsible for the accident) and one for your parents

(who may not have enough insurance coverage to pay a possible

judgment which could be entered against them).
