Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia
Day Care
My kids daycare provider stated that she was going to terminate my son without notice and in her contract she states she will give enough time if she terminates a child or if the parent want to pull her child out. Her reason, ''social worker stated she had too many toddlers'' when I contacted the social worker she stated that was not the case. So I go to pay the daycare worker & she gives me his clothes & doesn't accept the money and I have to find care by monday. Is this legal? Is this something I can pursue

Re: Day Care
Sounds like it could be a violation(breach) of her contract with you for her daycare services, but as a practical matter I doubt that it's something that you'd want to litigate.
Re: Day Care
If the contract was to give "enough time" rather than a specific time it is likely too vague to be enforceable. However, even if it were any damages would be so minimal--temporarily higher costs associated with immediate replacement care--that to pursue it would be more effort thant it was worth. I suggest that you put the effort into finding alternative--and better--child care, which will ultimately be more fruitful.
