Hello there--well, it depends. (How's that for a lawyer answer.) Some of the things it depends on: what the earlier decision was, whether it was in the same case or involved the same parties, whether it was supposed to end the case or whether it was just an interim ruling, and so on--and that's just for civil cases; criminal cases are another animal entirely. Lawyers have technical names for many of these procedural things, know one from another and know their significance. If you've got a real legal problem (and I realize this'll strike you as another lawyer answer), you should contact a lawyer, explain the whole thing and go over your options together I'm an experienced civil litigator, licensed in Va. for almost 25 years, and I often sit down with folks, on the phone or by correspondence, and go over things like this. If you want, we can do that. Just contact me at [email protected]. Good luck to you. --Steve Pershing.

Surely, you must have a more productive means of soliciting business that

postings such as this one (or so it might be hoped I would think).
