Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia
We had two dogs show up on our door step, in bad shape, we have had them for 6 weeks now, an could not find the owner anywhere, tried all aspects of the search, now we have over $3000.00 in Vet bills for them, can we get our money back if the owner shows up an wants the dogs back?

Yes, perhaps, some of it if not all, depending upon the credibility of your
proof that these expenditures were in fact necessary for the dogs
at the time they were incurred.
