Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia

My ex-husband filed bankruptcy, and surrendered his interest in the marital home to the mortgage holder. He and his lawyer, who knew of the bankruptcy, then filed a motion in court to reduce the price of the marital home so he could collect cash from a quick sale. Can this be considered fraud? His lawyer also did not notify me or my attorney of four motions she filed in court. Can I sue this lawyer.

I very much doubt that any such motion to reduce the value of the marital home would be granted(particularly, after your husband had already surrendered his interest and without notifying you as co-owner). Consequently, the issue of fraud should be moot by now.

Not enough informatiion regarding the nature of these four motions

to offer an opinion.
