Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia
i have just found out through the social security adm. that my marriage to my late husband was not legal as his divorce from his first wife was not legitimate. as a result of a law suit she filed against him for non- payment of support, she sued his estate 1 year from the date of his death for the property he had purchased before our so called marriage which my business was located on. as a result i had to move and lost my business. social security tells me there is evidence both he and his wife knew they were still married all along. is there a way to sue her for damages due to the non-disclosure of this information?

You should hire an attorney before you file suit. The case could be expensive and time-consuming. You should develop this "evidence" asap. Good luck.
Why would the first wife have been obligated to disclose this fact to you
who (apparently) was not even a party to her case against the estate?
