Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia

Girl Lied about being pregnant

When I tried to terminate a short-term, non-committal relationship, the girl claimed being pregnant. She kept it up for a month until I called her bluff and asked her to substantiate proof and she refused. Can I force her to provide proof and if she can not, can I sue her for pain and suffering or defamation?
